A relic of myth, reforged. This coin pendant bears the face of Helios, the sun god, cast from an original ancient mold. Its burnished surface tells a story of movement, heat, and divine orbit—an emblem for those drawn to power and presence.
In Greek mythology, the sun was personified as Helios. He drove his chariot of the sun, drawn by the fire-darting steeds Pyrois, Aeos, Aethon, and Phlegon across the sky each day to Earth, circling Oceanus and through the world-ocean, returned to the east at night.
The reverse shows a rose bud, which is an allusion to Rhodes, the name of the city which issued this coin.
*This is a replica made from a mold of the original coin.
